It works!
Finished up reassembling the trailer and installing the upper mounts.
Dumped 4 scoops (about a yard) of heavy, wet compost right in the front of the box and it picked it up without a hiccup at an idle. Old system wouldn't have touched it.
Got about $350 invested including steel, cylinder, hardware, hoses and fittings.
Rough guess about 30 hours of shop time.
