Drum mower experience?

I saw this Kverneland disc mower for sale on Craigslist last night. I have no need for one, but seems like a good price for a known brand and four feet of cutting width.

There's a lot more mechanical parts in a disc mower versus a drum mower. Not that it makes it bad, but for a smaller, sub 50HP tractor, I'd find it hard to beat a drum mower. I was able to mow thick, probably 28-32 inch tall grass, with my L4802HST in medium range, with the pedal to the floor. It would absolutely have mowed faster too, just couldn't stay in the seat with the bumps in my hay field.

Sad to say, I'm regretting buying the Titan drum mower. I "think" I know why I don't like it, but I'll start up another thread..
