If your talking about the 4WD the front axle has gear oil in there.

If the shaft is removable, it has grease points. One on either end. If its the "spline" you're referring to, then no, it sits in hydro fluid.

Not really. Just the ends. The intermediate shaft is enclosed (on my units it is) and there is a coupling on it (again my units) that can be replaced but it needs no lubrication except an initial greasing (in the coupling). It's only rotates, very little if any lateral movement.

The coupling is designed to take the wear (not hardened and tempered like the shaft. I just replaced one of mine. It's 60 bucks at the dealer and takes about 20 minutes to replace.

The B2650 does not have any grease zerks on the drive shaft listed for care in the manual, while my L3560 does have one. There are grease fittings in the rear on the top link and the lifting rod, and one on the speed control pedal linkage. And they recommend the battery terminals too. It is a much shorter list of zerks on the smaller tractor to care for.
