Do dealers take implements as trade?

I have a finish mower and want to trade it in on a new one. Is it worth it to trade or best to sell it myself?

Why do you need a brand new one, whats wrong with the old one you have now?

Sell it yourself........the dealer will give you nothing for it.

No nothing is wrong with it. It works fine, I was just wondering if they did or what the better way would be. Just pondering I guess.

Like Murphy said sell it youself, the dealer wont give you squat for it.

That's true and from what I hear most dealers don't want them unless they know someone looking for what you have

I just bought a used disc for $350 no tax from a dealer. Would sell new for $750.

Dealers can be a source of good deals on used implements if you are patient and look around.

The point is if I'm getting a good deal from him, he got it for next to nothing.
