So I took delivery of my B2601 tractor last week… happy with the tractor but not the dealer…
They substituted Worksaver attachments instead of Landpride. I was looking at my Quickhitch today and seems to be built ok but I was charged $600 when I can buy the same attachment for $400! They did the same with the grapple and still trying to figure out the brush hog. Bill of sale lists land pride and land pride parts numbers. No question I will ask for money back but if the unit it ok I’ll keep it other wise I will want to return it AND get my money back…
so all I’m looking for is info on Worksaver, are they ok or not? Thanks!

Worksaver is a reputable attachment manufacturer serving the Ag and construction industries. I wouldn't worry about poor quality with them. My FIL has a Worksaver manure fork that is very nice. I was considering them for a grapple.

I don't know anything about Worksaver, but if they substituted the implements without informing you, that is not cool. You don't even have a proper bill of sale for it. I would definitely let them know if that was done to me.

If the BOS says Landpride make them give you landpride. If you bought them with the 0% interest with your tractor they likely gave you the rebate for LP. Worksaver is not known like LP. If you want to sell someday it may hurt. I would make them switch. If they don’t have em, they can order and you use this stuff until yours comes in. JMHO

Put the attachments into the barn and then ask the dealer for the Landpride tools that you paid for. After all you have a Bill Of Sale for them.

$600 for quick hitch seems pretty steep.

wonder if they couldn't get the LP units ? but they HAVE to TELL you ,especilayy since BOS say LP !!

maybe 'bait and switch' ?? THAT"S a HUGE probem for them, if they don't 'nip in the bud'.
be nice but firm, but either get the LP tools, diff in $ back, or kill the entire deal
ANY 'resistance'... contact K-USA, inform them your lawyer's filing charges naming THEM as well as dealer and salesguy.

hopefully it can be solved real fast and politely...

Wonder how Kubota would feel about one of their dealers substituting Land Pride whom they own for another brand?

Worksaver is what I see Case IH/New Holland offering.

Be careful to avoid any mention of a lawyer until the bitter end - presuming it cannot be worked out. Once you invoke a lawyer, they may/often stop all communication based on their legal department/lawyer's advice. At that point, you will forced to get a lawyer or enter into arbitration (depends on local law and the contract), and either way you will not have a speedy resolution.

Thanks but no lawyers guys... that won't solve anything... I can handle this myself.
Part of the issue is the long lead times to get things, and nobody has any inventory!
Did more digging on Worksaver, sounds like they are ok... still diggng!
Anyways thanks for the thoughts appreciate you taking the time to answer!

Another issue if you want to use KTAC insurance is I doubt they cover any brands of implements other than Land Pride.

In the dealer’s defense, they probably couldn’t get the Land Pride implements.

Exactly! I wanted a Lands Pride bucket and when I’ll get it nobody knows! Right now I’m just gonna use my grapple anyhow!

I know nothing about Worksaver products. If my dealer promised LP, I paid for LP and no mention of a substitution was given beforehand (with my approval) the implements would have never left the delivery trailer.

Is worksaver a step up from Landpride?
Worksaver is a step or two below LandPride at best. I see their back blades bent and broken on a few customer's tractors.
There is a reason almost every dealer handles LandPride and few dealers handle Worksaver.

The Land Pride grapple and a quick hitch was the hold up on delivery of my tractor from a large dealership. Expected delivery to the dealer was April. I had to cancel that portion of the purchase to receive the tractor and I'm now looking for a suitable replacement to those two components of greater or equal quality to the Land Pride I ordered.

Why did you have to cancel those implements to get the tractor? I bought mine and the grapple was not in. Got it a month later. Didn’t have to wait to get the tractor over it or substitute.

I’m not actually sure. I know that the tractor was completed some time ago and they had been waiting on those two attachments to ship the tractor. I do not believe they were aware just how long it was going to take to get the implements in from Land Pride. I was made to feel like the tractor was almost ready to go. I was finally told April. So, those two items were removed and now it’s going to ship. Of course, I still don’t have the tractor so…maybe something else is going on but I’ll give them a reasonable amount of time to sort it out. I’m about 4 hours away from them.
