I was out-of-practice, but recently stopped to help a fellow get his cows back in......🐄🐄

Had a bunch all over the road and he was alone. Didn't know him, but he was appreciative of the help.

Wasn't much traffic, but everyone else just drove by.....

I helped the land owner across from me to get a couple cows back into the pasture that escaped.

The cattle owner who leases the field was laid up in the hospital at the time.

I seen the dude herding the cattle up the road in his pickup but once they got to the cattle gate they booked it into my yard instead.

We had them semi wrangled when one of them broke rank and went around the other dude and north up the road. The neighbor that lives behind me was coming towards the cow in his truck. He was able to persuade the stubborn one to come back towards the gate and between the three of us, we got the cows herded back into the pasture 😁😁😁

The more people, the easier it is to herd them where you want to go.

I need to find out what they like for treats. I used to just shake a bucket with a handful of grain in it, when I needed to corral one of the horses as a kid.

Can't say for sure what I may have eaten. There was a Chinese restaurant near our office that some of us really liked. Whatever they were feeding us was tasty and nobody ever got sick. However:

2 local asian restaurants were closed by the health department when they were caught picking up roadkill and taking it back to their restaurant. One of the reasons I don’t eat Asian food unless my wife cooks it.

When I lived in Houston, Marvin Zindler, the consumer advocate, did Friday health department restaurant reports. A Chinese restaurant near work was found with cat carcasses in their dumpster. This was naturally the Monday morning discussion. One of the guys listened a few minutes, then commented, "I wondered where they got those cute little ribs!"
