Considering buying a 90 L2550 w transmission problem

Hi all,

Came across a posted 1990 L2550 with 4wd and a FEL.

Guy says he had a new clutch put in, and the mechanic said it needs a new shift fork. It won't shift into gear and doesn't currently move. It has 7550 hours on it.

Is this a solvable issue or should I forget about the ad and move on?

He's asking about $6k (8500canadian) for it but that seems high already.

Getting parts for that model will be extremally difficult.

Does it have new tires and a full tank of fuel???

Tires look okay, but if the parts are a pain to find that's a deal breaker.
