I purchased a set of chains for my b7800 last year. Today when I tried to put them on, I realized they wouldn't work as the spacing between the wheel and arm is too narrow.
I assume I need to get some spacers?

Possibly swap the wheels left for right. Although extending the wheels on the front axle does put added stress on the axle and steering components.

You should NOT alter the offset of the front tires as it will very likely damage the front end.

I have a pair of chains for the fronts of my BX.

Never been out of the box…..similar issue.

I think about trying them each Fall, but so far the box stays under a toolbox with the rear chains that I NEED to use each winter. ❄
