Chain Size

I"m trying to find the length and width of chains that will fit on 15 x 19.5 R4 Tires. I previously posted this question asking for the length and width directly but to answer this question the chains would have to off the tractor and laying flat on the ground. With chains on the tires, can someone measure the length of the chain going from side to side across the tire tread and the diameter of the circle the chain makes on the side of the tire? Any help would be appreciated.

Purchasing new? I purchased chains from tirechain.com. They have a size selector tool. Just checked to see if there are any dimensions listed for your 15x19.5s. No luck.

Have R4s on the SCUT. Tiny wheels at IIRC 26x12. 2 link ladder model. Personally would not go with the 4 link design even with larger tires. Guessing 4 link ladders would slip more and be a bumpier ride plus less traction. I'm even 2nd guessing myself going with the 2 link v. diamond pattern. Next set maybe.

It would help if you gave the real tire size as I doubt you have a 15" inch tall tire on a 19.5" rim.

15X19.5 is not a 15 tall tire its a 15 wide tire mounted on a 19.5 rim!!

I believe that is the actual tire size.
