I'd put a pair of Kenny's bolt on or weld on hooks near to the gussets on the top of the bucket (if you have this bucket) since they're close to being inline with the loader arms, and the gussets will support some of the load that's on the hooks.

It's not rocket science, but putting hooks near other stiffening features is good, and locating them somewhat inline with the loader arms is good in order to reduce the lateral moment that the load places on the loader arms. Try to use both hooks too so that the load is balanced as much as possible. Also obvious but worth repeating.

I have an LX4020, where is the best place to mount the chain hooks? Is it worth purchasing aftermarket hooks that are mounted on a plate?
I installed the Workmaster Plate from JU FabWorks on my LX4020 60" bucket. It bolts on and includes 2 chain hooks, 2 loops, and a 2" receiver and also acts to reinforce the top edge of the bucket for these attachments.

I ordered two 3/8" G70 weld on hooks, two 5/8" pad eyes (3/4" thick) and two 5/8" shackles from @Kennyd4110 this evening. I've been meaning to put hooks on the M6060 bucket for a few years now. The MX bucket had hooks welded on by the local dealer. I'll weld the hooks on along the line indicated by the arrow.

I'll be using the pad eyes and shackles to help when hauling the M6060. I'm going to weld on the pad eyes to the underside of the drawbar as near to the tractor as possible, with an additional gusset between them. They'll be angled at 45° relative to the underside of the drawbar and the chains will connect to the shackles. I think that result in near ideal angles of the chains and binders.
