I'm not bush hogging another summer without a shade canopy on.

Anyone know of any good deals for a L3901 w ROPS?

thx

Lots of threads out there on canopies. After reading all i could find a year ago, i went with the Perry canopy - metal, a good size, and has sound absorbing insulation on the underside: https://perry-co.com/tracacc_guardian.html

I got it in person from a dealer that happened to sell them (4hr round-trip road trip). Very happy with it on my 4701..holds up well against tree branches

Another vote for this canopy. It’s made of steel and is very durable. It will also stand up to being towed at highway speeds while attached to the tractor. I love mine.

Rhinohide if your tractor goes where the canopy can get hung up in tree limbs! Its nearly indestructible. I had mine nearly bent in half on a tree limb and it bounced right back! Love it!

Can you trailer a tractor with a plastic canopy? Just wondering. My steel canopy can be trailered at highway speeds.

sure, it comes off in about 15 seconds without tools, and tossed in the bed of the truck, ez.

Well that works.
Well I wouldn't do it! Two knobs and the top comes right off. No tools required! When I need to get in the garage I just fold it down and insert two pins! FYI I drilled the two holes needed to do this!

I did a Tuff Top canopy which are now all on back order and Amazon substituted in this ECOTRIC Tractor Canopy Orange Compatible with All ROPS 48-3/8" X 48-3/8" Equipped Tractors with a 2" x 2" or 2" x 3" ROPS (Will Add About 4'' to The Height of The Tractor) Tractor Sun Canopy Sunshade https://a.co/d/d7repWS

same basic design. Lightweight and easy to remove which also is a negative. Stay out of heavy brush or you will bend the frame and mount. The canopy is held on with large knobs that tend to vibrate loose over time. When using it I have gotten used to doing quick checks on the snugness. On the plus side it folds easily if you have to lower your ROPs to get it in the garage. Now that I have the barn, I may replace the knobs with some nylon nuts and washers to keep it tight. Still easily removed when doing trailer maintenance

no one is trailering with the RH on the machine.
My dealer delivered my tractor with the steel canopy attached. It was a 5 hour trip over several highways and two interstates. It arrived in perfect shape. But it’s not good for people who need to remove it for low garages door situations because it does not quick attach. It works fine for my barn with 11’ doors and I never detach it.
