Cannot get stuck heat seal out ... need advice or ideas

Hello,
as a followup to my previous thread about my Kubota d1005/Beta Marine 28 engine not starting properly I decided to replace the injectors.
And to do so I needed to remove the heat seals.
To do that I used a left-hand extractor tool which worked very nicely on two of the seals but of course the one last from the third cylinder ( closest to the exhaust ) did not move one bit. Instead the extractor just made the bottom opening of the seal larger. Now I wonder what options I still have except removing the cylinder head and trying to poke it out from the inside. ( this option would of course only be the very last resort as it could create even bigger issues if something goes wrong.
I could of course take a slim key file and try to split the seal to remove it but that feels like it could create collateral damage ...
Any ideas most welcome!

I dont have access to such a tool where I am at the moment.
Currently I am wondering if I should give up for now and just install the injector with a copper washer on the stuck heat seal and deal with the whole situation once I have access to a proper workshop.
What would that do to the new injector?

I guess it would work for some time, no?

I guess it would work for some time, no?
With the heat shield damaged it could make the injector lock up and destroy it.
It could even damage the engine if it sticks open and floods the cylinder with fuel.

I see... Well the engine would supposedly only run for a couple of hours before I could reach a proper workshop.
Can damage to the injector occur even on a short run?
I'd of course feel much better with a proper repair but it seems a bit out of reach here.

Yes it could happen within minutes.
it might or might not.
If it were mine I would run an old injector in it till you can get it fixed properly.

I am trying to understand what might happen with the damaged heat seal.
From what I understand this cup is protecting the injector end from the combustion heat, right?
As there is an additional copper washer, I guess this is doing the sealing against the pressure inside the chamber?
Now with a damaged seal the injector will get too hot and seize/break/burn so letting either no diesel in or too much?
Is this correct?

Yes you are exactly right on what could happen to the injector with a damaged / missing heat shield.
