Hi all,

I have a new BX2670 that I have had for this mowing season which I have been VERY happy with. What I am not happy with is the loader just dose not lift enough weight for my needs. I would like to life 800 to 1000lbs. So I talked to the deal about a upgrade to the B2320. Still not sure that will provide the lifting amount I want.

The BX today works great on mowing across some of my very steep hills so I am a little worried that upgrading to a B2320 or B2650 that I will no be able to mow across these hills anymore as these tractors are taller then the BX. That being said the B models are wider and I think that would help when running across these hills. I think the BX being so narrow makes it feel more unstable on these hills currently. I do hold my breath on these hills some times in spots if that tells you what I am working with.

I always remove the loader when I mow as the loader always want to make the tractor tip when I have it off the ground on the hills. Trying not to trip this baby when it is brand new.

Anyone have a idea if mowing on these hills would be better in a B vs BX or would this not be something you would even try with the bigger tractor?

The tractor is 90% mowing machine and the BX dose that very well but the other 10% I want to do things the BX cant do like the backhoe some day and and stronger loader.

Thoughts?

Wheel spacers will add tons of stability for your bx. As far as loader goes, you can bump up the pressure to make it lift more. Both those things will cost 300or so dollars which is a lot cheaper then a new tractor. Id try those out before trading it in .

Should work fine though my preference would be B2301. I decided to stay with the BX as I have bigger tractors when needed. If I had only one it would be a B Series. As mentioned get spacers, I have them on our BXs.

The B2320 is only available in the DT or gear transmission! Your BX is an HST.

As said above B2301 or 2601 or B2650 would be the next step up! The B2650 will be getting close to your lift capacity you wanted!
