Hello
I'm looking to disconnect the landpride cutter on my BX2670 from the 3 point hitch for the first time ever.
Last piece of the puzzle (I think) is the PTO - I've attached a couple of pics. Can anyone advise on how this disconnects/works? Any guidance or utube video would be very much appreciated.
thanks guys.
cheers

The shaft collar the one that slips on to the PTO.. pull the ring back as in its forward position it looks the shaft to the PTO. it may be a bit tight but wiggle it back toward the tiller the ring Im talking about and when it slips back it should slip off the PTO shaft

The collar will be under the gray shield with the warning sticker in your pictures
About in line with the orange part of the sticker
Some pull, some twist some have a pin
All are hard to get to

There is an amazing amount of tractor information on YouTube and sometimes a video is worth more than a half a dozen descriptions of what to do. This one may or may not help, but if you do a search on YouTube you might find one that better matches your equipment.

Cigarman,
Off subject a bit but I noticed in your first picture that it appears to me
that the weld is broke on the right hand turn buckle that faces to the
rear you need to get welded back together. It's the outside end where
it's welded to the nut on the rod if what I think I see is correct. Not a
difficult job to do or have done just need to squeeze it back together
maybe a couple whacks with a BFH to relieve the stress then weld it back
together.
Practice makes hooking and unhooking the pto shaft easier and in my experience if the slip collar isn't moved back and forth once in a while
they can get pretty sticky and hard to unhook. Lots of dust and dirt is
what causes that problem so maybe blowing the dirt out of it with an air
pistol once in a while will help keep it from becoming to packed with debris
to be able to move.

Thanks guys - great information.
I'm embarrassed to say I didn't find the Mike Wiles video BEFORE I posted the question. Very helpful.
(and yes tiredguy - it is a broken weld - covered by dealer warranty and a replacement has been mailed / compliments on the sharp eye for details!)

Thanks again to all
