BX25 Mechanical Thumb instalation

I was trying to install my mechanical thumb, on my BX25 and it looks like the bolt that attaches the mechanical arm to the backhoe arm is too big( thick) , I was thinking of filing the bracket a little so the bolt gets through.
Anybody else had the same problem?

I remember this coming up a while back - been a while!

I would not file the bracket - I would find another bolt! Either you have a metric and it calls for standard or vice-versa. Can you "measure" the hole and the bolt?
As I recall it is up there above an inch?

Mine installed relatively easy, but read where others had to ream the holes out with a dremel or like to get the pin thru.
