Hi All!
First Post. I've had my BX25-D for a year, have about 120 hours on it. I just ordered my 3" Wheel Spacers from Bro-Tek. Per their website:
• 3 inch spacers will not work with most MMM decks
• All spacers for the Kubota BX series will work with the 48" deck
3 inch spacers are the most stable option giving the widest wheelbase, but will not work with mower decks.

Seems a bit contradictory,, so was wondering if anyone is using ANY size mower deck with 3" spacers. I've been lurking here for a while and have done a number of searches, but have never seen anyone reference the 48" deck.

Thanks,
Todd

I placed 2" on my 25D 3 years ago - made a hellva difference! I did not know that you could place a 48 under it !!!

3" will NOT work with anything other than a rear cutter!:D:)

Looks like the 48" deck is only an option on the BX1870. Doesn't mean it wont fit the other BX's. I don't really know. I have the 60" deck with 2" rear spacers. I've seen others with the 54" deck, could go with 1.5" rear spacers with that.

I'm guessing you don't have a deck and not getting one in the near future with 3" rear spacers?

I'm not opposed to getting a 48" deck. Just want to make sure it actually fits. I don't have a trailer to haul my Kubota to the dealer to find out prior to buying it. I was going to get a zero turn, but $1600 est. for a 48" MMM sounds better than a $7000 ZT. I really don't want a larger deck anyway. I have a LOT of uneven ground. My brush-hog is 48" and it does just fine,, we just keep expanding our lawn by mowing it. I've been on less than 4 wheels way to many times in the past year and the piece of mind of the wider stance far exceeds the ability to put a deck under it. I've got some really steep terrain so I didn't want to go with anything less than 3" spacers. But if a 48" deck will fit,, I think I'd go that route.
Thanks,,,

There was a thread to make them fit. Had to relocate the rear deck wheels on the 60".
