Great welding.
I am not familiar with smaller tractors so when I see having a ripper with 3 teeth it says they have a lot of pulling power.
Love to hear back with more pictures once it is working.

The problem is Dave that on these small tractors you run out of traction long before you run out of power

Perhaps you need to design a way to have a big weight hung under the rear axle to boost traction. The usual weight box on the 3 pt would not work as it would just driver the ripper deeper.
If you cannot pull it let me know and maybe I will buy it to use on my M7040 :)

Well I've been wanting to build a ripper for a while now so here's a few pics figured I'd do some show and tell.
Very Nice!! How much did it run you for materials? Where did you source the ripper teeth? Good looking build. Make it dirty!

I played with it yesterday in my neighbors garden she ripped about 9 inches deep with all 3 shanks in one pass with no weight on tractor or ripper .I built the ripper pretty stout she probably weighs 100 lbs or so. the square tubing is 4"x4" for the main tube it's 5/16"wall and the upright is 1/4" wall the and the angle iron is 3/8" thick. I got my shanks from agrisupply onine they were about $18 each I probably have $150 in it give or take i had most of the steel under the bench it was scrap the only pieces I had to buy was the upright tube it was $35. I painted it orange today I'll get some pics posted tomorrow when it's all finshed.
