BX2370 Hood and Console Alignment Issue

I have a .5" gap between my hood and console (see pic). Is there an easy way to adjust this alignment?

The frame holding all the console components is not bent, the plate it is mounted to on the frame is in good shape as well with no buckling and nothing looks bent upfront. I suspected the previous owner may have damaged it, but cannot see anything damaged.

I looked at the workshop manual and could not see any adjustments for this. Any productive advice is welcome!

I have the same tractor. Open the hood, and have a look at the sides of the cover near the front of the tractor. On the left side, it is near and above the exhaust pipe. Kinda the same position on the right side. There are two knobs that hold the hood in place. Loosen both those knobs, and re-align the hood. Tighten down the knobs before closing the hood to check alignment. You might have to re-do this a few times to get the proper alignment. Hopefully the tabs under the tightening knobs aren,t broken. If they are, a large washer might help keep the remaining portion in place. There are also a bunch of tabs that have to fit properly into their slots near the portion of the shroud that covers the area where the battery is located. Any time I have had that off, I noticed it does take some patient to get everything to align properly. Don,t force it, just use gentle pressure. Let us know how you are progressing once you get a chance to make the adjustments.

The “hood” is separate from the “bonnet”!
I recently had a broken headlight module and a broken “tab” which holds the bonnet in place. I fabbed a new “tab” on the bonnet so I could reinstall the bonnet. The bonnet slides in under the hood and is totally separate from the hood, which seems to be his problem.

Thanks for the replies. IMG_1974.jpeg I I am having trouble with the top hood. If the highlighted bolts had slots in the hinge plate, I could adjust it. But there aren’t which makes me think there is some other adjustment or something is bent. I may disassemble some of the console near its base to see if there is anything there to adjust.

I stand corrected.
The diagram is for a BX2370 not a BX25D, but appears to be the same.
My BX1880 is not even close to either of these, the hood is spot welded to the the bonnet, all one piece.

The highlighted bolts are fixed, the bonnet has the slots for adjustment according to the diagram.
So the bonnet is aligned properly but the hood is not?

Is it possible that the front hood mount/frame got "nudged/bent" a 1/4" or so forward out of alinement without appearing to be deformed? Just throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks...

The side bonnet covers can be adjusted easily enough so they are no issue. I don't think the front is bent as it looks very square to the frame and no visible damage. The console frame looks like it is sloped back by design. I am going to take off some console components and see if i can see any damage.
