I just changed the hydraulic fluid in my 2370-1 to SUDT2 at 50 hours. The HST noise is almost nonexistent. If you have been considering the fluid swap do yourself a favor. Money well spent. Ed B

I did the same a while back - made a lot of difference for me too. I think it is money well spent too! What did your filter screen look like?
The filter screen was for the most part clean. I was expecting a little bit of metal shavings. Didn't really see any.

From my understanding the S-Udt2 is almost impossible to get in Canada. I hope I am wrong! You can have it shipped - but that would be a lot too!
I,m 10 minutes away from an international bridge, so I go over to New York state and pick stuff up way to often. The only tough part is the exchange on our weak dollar.
I don,t mind ordering it in and paying taxes to bring it across the border.

My 2015 BX2370-1 manual says the tractor comes with Super UDT-2 in it already. You said you changed your fluid to SUDT2. Do you know what was in the tractor to start with (I assume Standard UDT)?
Could the fluid change alone (not changing "type" of oil) resulted in the quieter operation?

Mine is a 2013 model - and I am NOT sure what was in it upon shipment, I do know that switching to the synthetic stuff made a world of difference. Is the whine completely gone, O hell no, but running around on flat ground, with the engine cranked up a bit - cannot hear it at all! Place a load on it and go up hill, it will whine, but nothing like before the fluid change.
Well, I reckon it could have come with SUDT-2 from the factory. My dealer just started carrying it. There is however a very noticeable difference in the HST whine after fluid change which leads me to believe it had something different in it. My assumptions are probably way off base but, the tractor noise is completely different now. Ed B
Well guys I always read a lot, but don't post a lot. I just changed the B20 over to SUDT2. First time in its life. And noticed quieter hst whine already! All this machine ever does is hoe and front loader work since new. We'll see how it goes! Didn't work it hard yet!
