I haven't been able to get a manual yet for my bx2350. Am i correct that the mid pto rpm matches engine rpm? Also what engine rpm gets me 540 rpm on the rear pto? I've been mowing with my mmm between 2500-2800 engine rpm. With my new rear snow blower, I'm assuming the engine rpm should be around 3000 rpm. Or am i way off base?
Didn't notice anything in search.

If I am not mistaken - 3100 engine rpm is 540 pto on the bx......MMM, is a little behind the engine rpm I think MMM pto is approx 2500 @ 3125 rpms

Yep with the MMM wide open for a good cut, you can of course slow it down around places you don't want to toss stones or stuff and I was told that 30 or a tad over would give you 540 at the rear PTO shaft

Thanks guys. I find it interesting that i get a better cut at 2600 rpm than i do at 3000 rpm with the mmm.

My book for the BX2360 is a follows. To get 540 on the rear, the engine is at 3142 rpm.

To get 2500 at the front pto, engine runs at 3043 rpm.
