Hey - got these 3 combustion areas
DSCN0476.JPG
DSCN0475.JPG
DSCN0477.JPG

They seem to be same size and exactly same place, with stake marks?
Cracks or not?

FRecommend home crack test system?

I hope I'm changing head gasket for tiniest of radiator bubbles.

Any help?

They look like registration marks,

explain: " I hope I'm changing head gasket for tiniest of radiator bubbles. "

Nope not cracks.
Someone scratched those in.

Use an OEM gasket!

I was expressing hope, that my only problem was the head gasket, to explain/fix tiny bubbles.
Based on reading, and my machinist's remarks, I may have the rare 'caught it before it cracked'!

I would replace the thermostat and the water pump, because both can cause bubbles too.

I would do a block combustion leak test, that way you can confirm if
there is combustion gas leaking into the coolant system.
Real easy to do.

So, machinist confirmed no cracks (!!), had OEM gaskets before I started.

Doc, you teasing me? How to 'block combustion leak test'?
