My BX has a hydraulic fluid leak, appears to come from the transmission and way under where it's really hard to see..
I can feel in this area and there is fluid leaking ..
My question is..does anybody have any experience with a similar type leak and am I better off having a shop do this repair?
I'm an old 80 yr coot who likes to do his own repairs but this looks to be involved and difficult for my old bones to manage..

Thanks for any input

Prob simple to fix. You may need to remove the sheet metal for easy access. Most are flare fittings, and orings. I would buy the oem orings they much better than what come in universal kits. If you can narrow down the leak it would help. Clean it off real good with some soap and water. Then run it for a few and see where its wet. Just dont go trying to feel around with the machine on. Gangrene from hydraulic fluid under the skin would not be fun.
