BX22 Losing Power Under Load When Warm

With the weather warming up, I've recently found my BX22 starting to lose power when under a load after an hour or so of operation. Loading such as pulling a mower deck up a steep incline. RPMs will start dropping until almost stalling. I'll turn it off and let it sit for 30-60 minutes and it'll be good for another while.

I'm guessing fuel pump, but wondering what you all think based on your experience as I've only been an owner for 6 months.

Thanks!

3 things come to mind.

It's getting hot, clean the radiator inside and out.
Change the oil and hydraulic filters and clean any screens.
Change the air filter (my money is on this one) and the fuel filter.

Thanks Wolfman.

The temp gauge doesn't get past midway, but wouldn't hurt to clean it out. Thanks for the tips, I'll do those and see how it goes.

HungSolo,

Did you ever find the root cause? I'm experiencing the same thing with my BX23.

Nothing in the 3417 days from the start of this thread till today. Instead of digging up old threads, may I suggest that you start a new thread describing exactly what the problem is when it started, your machine, and your location? You are more likely to get information from current members of these forums that will help you than just saying " Same with my BX22. Any updates/progress on this?"
