Hey all,
Myengine has been cutting out when cold, and going down hill. I have searched the threads and find this is most likely caused by a fuel issue. The only question I have is when it happens there is a relay click, and a lever above the throttle on the engine block is clicking back and making a relay type noise when it cuts fuel.
just making sure it’s most likely the fuel. I was gonna start by changing the fuel filters and cleaning the line and then move onto the lift pump.
I attached a picture and circle circled the lever that trips.
Ty!

From your description it is not really a fuel problem but an electrical problem (that turns the fuel off).

It sounds like there is a relay that is possibly failing or being activated when a wire is being activated or deactivated. Because it is easy to do I suggest that you locate the relay that is responsible for shutting the tractor off (stop solenoid relay) and replace it with a new one (or swap with another relay that is the same relay in a separate circuit). You can get it from your dealer or probably a local auto part store can supply it for less money.

Use tractor for a while and if that doesn’t fix it, then try to figure out a wiring problem (short or open wire)
