I am looking at moving up to a 2010-2017 100-125hp tractor.
Its primary purpose is for snow removal I would run a Zuidberg front PTO with a Pronovost blower.

I service driveways that are on average 30 feet long. Its usually 3-5 swaths so theres a lot of backing up for each driveway.
I deal with snow berms that are on average 3 feet tall and accumulation thats usually a foot high per snow day.

I know theres a few different transmission options. Which ones would you recommend?

100 to 125HP tractor for thirty foot long driveways? Really now? It will take you longer to unload the tractor than to plow it with a walk behind. Ariens walk behind snow blower realm.

Three foot tall snow berms? Childsplay.

25 HP tractor and a rear PTO rear facing snow blower and you're in business. But with 30-foot driveways, even a 25 HP is way overkill.

If you said a 30 mile driveway, I'd understand 100 to 125 HP.

I have municipal tractors that are 110hp with 8 foot blowers which is the industry standard. However a utility tractor with blower has its benefits with a bigger cab, operator comfort and better visibility.

The tractors drive from house to house. Each tractor services 100+ driveways.

On big storm days we get 4 feet of snow per day which creates even taller berms.

The L5740 I have does a decent job but I need something that can cut through the berms more efficiently and clear the driveways faster.

Personally I'd go with a JD 6 Series outfitted per your specifications it's going to be your best option out there and easiest to get configured exactly the way you need it.

wow, the city clear personal driveways !!! then I saw address..sierra nevada... still..wonder what the taxes are to pay for that snow removal..and..... WHERE do you PUT all that snow !!!

2nd the HST..... eliminates the 'operator error' of burned out clutches.
In 77 I went to buy a new Cherokee Chief WITH factory plow. ONLY way they'd sell is with A/T ,No manual tranny offered.

When I say Municipal tractors Im referring to Holders, Maclean, Trackless etc

I thought that HST was not an option for the 100+ horsepower tractors ?

Thats interesting that they wouldn't sell you an auto Cherokee.

Not really by the major brands in the US yes. They are mostly field tractors which you want geared.

You're right HST's are not available in the large HP tractors.
Your going to want a 24 speed not a 12 speed to get the crawl needed for a snowblower to work properly.
