Busted mower deck for B7100HST

Mower deck totally busted for my B7199HST. I found a decent one for $1,700 and 450 miles driving to pick. Does that sound reasonable, or have you heard of anything better deal?

If it's the right deck and you want it I would jump on it, they are getting pretty hard to find!

Have to ask ..what's 'totally busted' mean ?
Any decent welder can patch/repair the deck,heck I've done that with a Lincoln AC225 buzzbox, so a pro with pro equipemnt can !
I assume bearings and 'mechanical' stuff can be bought ?
1700 greenback is about 2300 Canucks and I know i wouldn't drive 900 miles and spend large coins on a 'decent' deck.

I have one in good shape off a B7100 HST I would sell for $1000.00 but you would have to come to Tulsa OK to get it.

Here's a 72" much closer in Franklin, OH. Much less expensive, also.
