If I understand you correctly ypu disconnected the line that feeds the cylinders and you have no flow.

What is the make and model number of the loader?
Where did you disconnect th line?
Did you operate the bucket control valve in both directions?

Are you sure the lines are hooked up correctly?

On a BX (smaller than an L) the outside connections are for lift, inside for bucket, so if they're hooked up as:
1: Lift
2: Lift
3: Bucket
4: Bucket
The loader might lift (depending) but not tilt.

Hooking up correctly:
1: Lift
2: Bucket
3: Bucket
4: Lift
and things work.

It wont stop the bucket from operating and he will get plenty of flow from the lines. A bad coupler on the other hand can kill both flow and function.

Disconnect thw two bucket hoses from the metal lines. Stick them in a bucket or can, start the tractor, and BRIEFLY operate the bucket control in both directions. You should get a steady oil flow from alternating hoses as you move the control from curl to dump.

that is very possible that a line is hooked up wrong i replaced all the hydraulic lines , even though i tagged them all i might have got one mis marked. it is too far of a drive to do one at a time so i did all at once. i am retagging them so this weekend i can flush out all the lines and the control block to make sure something did not get in there while i had the lines off. i wrapped tape and plastic bags on the fittings when i took them off i might have missed something. the pics are the line i took off with weak flow, and the control block

The two top outlets in line witu the right lever are the bucket ports. As long as they go to the bucket cylinders curl and dump should work. If the lever action is backwards reverse those two ports.

I would say the chance of this being contamination are slim to none.

I learned [the hard way] to take pictures from every angle first, and during repairs. Saved my bacon several times since.

If you pass a dealer take pictures, it makes things easy.

Is this a new-to-you machine or have you owned it a while? Did it ever work? Have you done anything like disconnected and reconnected it to the tractor since the last time it worked?

it was my fathers and it did work, i rebuilt the tilt cylinder on the left side but i did not start having issues till i changed the hoses.

Ah, you tested the rebuilt cylinder with the old hoses and it worked OK? So the hoses may be involved. Do they have quick-connect couplings or are they piped in direct? Nevermind, you said you removed them and got a trickle out of the control. I assume you operated the control to the curl and dump positions? Nothing came out even when you operated the valve both ways?

So the problem must be in the control. Obviously you have enough fluid in the tractor and the pump works OK, or the arms wouldn't lift up and down.

Any chance the lever has become physically detached from the spool valve it controls? This can particularly happen with joystick style controls with pivots and levers hidden under a boot.

Did you use teflon tape on the hoses by any chance? I've heard of tape getting into a system and plugging the tiny ports inside a spool valve.

too late now but I have a bag of multicoloured tyraps I use for 'complicated' things( ie more than 2 connections...). Each hose gets it's own colour THEN take a few pictures from several angles...THEN disassemble $10 spent on 'rainbow tyraps' can save HOURS of 'how did this come apart'....arrrrrghs.
