i have a L245DT with a front loader. the bucket will go up and down but wont tilt front and back. i took the splitter line that feeds both cylinders loose and i have fluid coming out at a trickle.
If I understand you correctly ypu disconnected the line that feeds the cylinders and you have no flow.i have a L245DT with a front loader. the bucket will go up and down but wont tilt front and back. i took the splitter line that feeds both cylinders loose and i have fluid coming out at a trickle.
It wont stop the bucket from operating and he will get plenty of flow from the lines. A bad coupler on the other hand can kill both flow and function. Are you sure the lines are hooked up correctly?
On a BX (smaller than an L) the outside connections are for lift, inside for bucket, so if they're hooked up as:
1: Lift
2: Lift
3: Bucket
4: Bucket
The loader might lift (depending) but not tilt.
Hooking up correctly:
1: Lift
2: Bucket
3: Bucket
4: Lift
and things work.
model is 1200 on the loaderIf I understand you correctly ypu disconnected the line that feeds the cylinders and you have no flow.
What is the make and model number of the loader?
Where did you disconnect th line?
Did you operate the bucket control valve in both directions?
Dan
And the answer to the other two questions is ????model is 1200 on the loader
the metal line on the cross bar i took off the line going to the rod end of the right tilt cylinder.i have a L245DT with a front loader. the bucket will go up and down but wont tilt front and back. i took the splitter line that feeds both cylinders loose and i have fluid coming out at a trickle.
yes i ran it in both directions towards the back fluid came out at a very slow and towards the front of the tractor no fluid came out it tried to go back in.the metal line on the cross bar i took off the line going to the rod end of the right tilt cylinder.
Disconnect thw two bucket hoses from the metal lines. Stick them in a bucket or can, start the tractor, and BRIEFLY operate the bucket control in both directions. You should get a steady oil flow from alternating hoses as you move the control from curl to dump.the metal line on the cross bar i took off the line going to the rod end of the right tilt cylinder.
that is very possible that a line is hooked up wrong i replaced all the hydraulic lines , even though i tagged them all i might have got one mis marked. it is too far of a drive to do one at a time so i did all at once. i am retagging them so this weekend i can flush out all the lines and the control block to make sure something did not get in there while i had the lines off. i wrapped tape and plastic bags on the fittings when i took them off i might have missed something. the pics are the line i took off with weak flow, and the control blockIt wont stop the bucket from operating and he will get plenty of flow from the lines. The two top outlets in line witu the right lever are the bucket ports. As long as they go to the bucket cylinders curl and dump should work. If the lever action is backwards reverse those two ports.that is very possible that a line is hooked up wrong i replaced all the hydraulic lines , even though i tagged them all i might have got one mis marked. it is too far of a drive to do one at a time so i did all at once. i am retagging them so this weekend i can flush out all the lines and the control block to make sure something did not get in there while i had the lines off. i wrapped tape and plastic bags on the fittings when i took them off i might have missed something. the pics are the line i took off with weak flow, and the control block
i will do that tomorrow and let you know what happensDisconnect thw two bucket hoses from the metal lines. Disconnect the two hoses connecting the valve to the lines. Do that at the steel lines.i will do that tomorrow and let you know what happens
Is this a new-to-you machine or have you owned it a while? Did it ever work? Have you done anything like disconnected and reconnected it to the tractor since the last time it worked?i have a L245DT with a front loader. the bucket will go up and down but wont tilt front and back. i took the splitter line that feeds both cylinders loose and i have fluid coming out at a trickle.
it was my fathers and it did work, i rebuilt the tilt cylinder on the left side but i did not start having issues till i changed the hoses. Is this a new-to-you machine or have you owned it a while? Ah, you tested the rebuilt cylinder with the old hoses and it worked OK? So the hoses may be involved.it was my fathers and it did work, i rebuilt the tilt cylinder on the left side but i did not start having issues till i changed the hoses.
Remove both hoses from the valve and try again. Be careful - if could get messy!!!i took both lines on the right control off and got a spit --- drip ,drip ,drip basically nothing
