I have owned a L295DT since 1976. Original stuff including bucket. I have need to add fork lifts to attach to bucket but need to know approximate WEIGHT bucket is capable of liftin no more than 1 foot off the ground. Any thought or website where such information is listed.? Will be lifting 3+ cu ft bags of light weight soil approximately 1800 lbs. Doable?

Isn't the loader model the weight in Kilos it can lift? That should get you close.

Not even knowing the loader # I can safely say Nope, that loader won't lift 1800lbs
Loaders that were available for that tractor were in the 500lb-600lb hundred range

I have the same problem with my 1983 honda civic hatchback. It will barely tow my 10,000 lb capacity trailer empty. When I load the trailer with only 3,000 lbs the civic won't tow it. WTF

Hi Bob, why not just load the 3 cu ft bags of soil into the bucket? You won’t lift the whole pallet at once.

This is a BF300 loader. 300 kilos = 661lbs. That rating is 'to full height'.

I calculated this load to over 1000lbs. That was as high as it would lift it (i did not drive it like that).

So i think your capacity 'to 1ft off the ground' could be as much as double what its 'lift to full height' rating is.
