Hydraulic question.

My scraper is really slow to drop. I push the lever forward and sometimes it won't drop at all and other times it's quick. I started it after replacing the battery and raised the box scraper and now it won't go down at all.

Something I can check or fix? Hydraulic level appears to be fine. Loader works fine without and issue.

Re: Scrapper slow to drop

Have you worked the 3 point speed control know under the seat?

I have. I turned the knob in increments both ways and it made no difference.
Increments?
With the lever pushed all the way forward open the valve until it drops. If that doesn't work you have an obstruction.

Re: Scrapper slow to drop

As for getting it to drop I push the lever all the way forward and it either doesn't drop or it does so VERY slowly. I thought you meant the circular knob directly below the seat.

He does. Push the hitch lever all the way forward (full drop position), then turn the knob until the 3 point drops. If the knob adjustment won't allow it to drop, or drop quickly, then there must be an obstruction in the hydraulic system.
