...Or the idea that for folks who were lucky to have lived long enough in one place to pay their mortgage off, that those people should be taxed the equivalent of a mortgage payment because not having to pay your mortgage was income and should be taxed!

It's a bit disingenuous to say this comes from Hillary and wear the Hillary shirt to back it, but it is a frightening thing that anyone would go for it no matter whom it was touted to be from.
Guys, we were screwed from the point the Supreme Court ruled like morons in Wickard v. Filburn.
If you can undo that ruling, the entire Federal government taxation system as it's currently built collapses. We could got back to sane taxation policies and ones that work as well as benefit everyone.
