I found the original bill of sale for a Ford we had that we sold a few years ago.
It was kind of expensive for 1969 as you could buy a nice Ford Mustang for that.

Yeah that may be true - but a farmer friend of mine always reminded me ..........cars and trucks are money wasters ....... a tractor is a money maker!!!

My grandfather gave up farming and sold all his farm equipment at auction in 1992. The ratty 1952 8N and a somewhat nicer 1953 NAA both sold for more than he paid new. I still regret not buying the NAA....

Ya, but a 69 Mustang still looks nicer than any newer Mustang, so I'd still pick it.
If I had $300,000 USD to waste I'd buy one of those new Revology Mustang's. They make BRAND NEW 66 to 69 Mustang's with modern brakes and suspension, and your choice of either a 460 h.p. 5.0 Coyote or a 710 h.p. Roush supercharged Coyote with either a 6 speed manual or a 10 speed auto.
