Hi all,

I purchased a BH77 backhoe for my LX2610HSDC and its my understanding that I'll need to install a BH4973B sub frame kit. I hear that the instructions to do so are in the BH77 owners manual - which I didn't get with the BH77 unfortunately. I found the assembly instructions and work shop manuals for the BH77, but no luck on the actual operators manual.

The assembly instructions do outline installation of the BH4973 - but not the BH4973B... I believe the difference being cab vs. non-cab.

Does anyone have a lead on where I can find a BH77 manual?

Thanks in advance if you stuck with me this far!

I found one that could be purchased and downloaded at kubotaprints.com
I have a BH77 and have the manual for it in a pdf file. But it's too large to attach here or in a private message. I believe I can upload it to a gmail spot and give you the link to it. Start a conversation with me and I'd be happy to see what we can do.

The difference is the serial number on the tractor.
Neither of those kits are for a non cabed models
You can use the BH4973 on older cabbed tractors and the BH4973B on both older and newer.

If you have the time and inclination, it would be cool to see a post on what the process is to install your subframe.

The dealer put mine on, so I did not get a "hands on" experience.

Love the BH BTW. (y) (y) (y)

Thank you for that explanation. That is info I hadn’t heard and probably wouldn’t have otherwise found. My LX is a 2023 mfg so I’m guessing it would require the newer style kit. The BH4973 (no-b) kit is cheaper than the kit with the B suffix… any chance you know the general date cutoff between the “old style and new style”?

I was thinking about that. There are a couple videos on YouTube. I do better with a series of photos accompanied by instructions.
I’ll plan to document the process… unless it goes sideways - ha

YouTube videos are way too often long miserable productions that could be condensed to 1/10 the length without any loss of the content the viewer wanted. Pictures are good (y)

The serial number difference might be for the BH77 and not the tractor?
Really looks like the only change is with the right extension bracket.
Everything else appears to be the same.
