Please take some pictures of the lower sides of the engine and of the damage of the radiator and post them here.
I don’t see any oil or damage in those pictures. But you couldn’t see a cracked head in a picture, and overheat the engine is likely to cause it to crack.
Ask your friend to evaluate the situation and make suggestions on how to proceed (if they are mechanically inclined!). Does the engine rotate a full 360 degrees, by hand? Does it make strange noises when being rotated? What does the oil look like (should be black)? I might even try to start it and let it run for a few seconds but that is “risky”, but you don’t have much to lose really.
There are Canadian members that might be able to help if they are close, but “Canada” is a large area to cover!
You may want to consider taking it to some mower repair shop or an auto shop and pay them for an hour of time to evaluate your mower for repair or parting it out/selling it.
