I've used $100 ones and $20 ones. Used Tordon, 2-4-D, Remedy...you name it. The $20 one worked just a good as the more expensive ones.

The $20 one came from Harbor Freight.

How is it working for you?

I have 5 in the barn, 1 Solo, 1 old echo, 1 old Flo-Master and 2 newer Flo-Masters.

The only ones that work are the old Flo-Master and the old Echo.

The 2 newer Flo-Masters quality is terrible, the old one is a tank. After maybe 8 gallons out of the newer Flo-Master it stopped pumping. Called Flo-Master and the shipped me new one and told me to keep old one. A month in to using the replacement same problem. When you push down on the handle and pull back up even when tank is full it takes so much force the tank lifts off my back.

I do not like to mix chemicals in my sprayers just makes it easy. I'd like to have 4 that work.

1-Glyphosate
2-Organic chemicals for garden
3-Worm juice/compost tea for garden
4-Cimarron Plus

Please keep us informed on how your new sprayer holds up.

Thanks,
Jay

Mine is a Roundup brand. I think it came from Lowe's. It's about 5 years old and works flawlessly.

The roundup sprayer is working great. I even found out after the fact that the Fire Department is using them as Indian packs during brush fires because they are substantially lighter and less expensive

Indian packs, brings back memories when we used them back in the 90's heavy metal cans full of water that you pushed and pulled on the handle/nozzle to spray. I hated wearing them but as a rookie it was my job.

We no longer use them and now have 1" hose that drags easily through the woods.

Good to hear I spray a lot out of my packs each year, well over a 100 gallons on the yard, garden, and deer lease.

Curious how it holds up over time.

I have 3 working now one I keep for spraying corn, one for weeds, one for 41% all purpose killer. Need one more working for the worm juice application and I'll be set. just do not like to cross contaminate to much rinsing to ensure clean.

I work in a mostly urban area. 12 years on the job and maybe 3 big brush fires. We call mutual aid for brush rigs. Couldn’t imagine doing it on a regular basis but I guess like anything else practice makes perfect

I have been a volunteer since 1987 in a small town but busy. We run fire, rescue and EMS to the tune of 1200 calls a year. Of the 1200 400 are fire/rescue the others EMS calls.

Lot of rural area, we have a 5 mile district in all directions from our station.

We ran a fair share of brush, woods, and grass fires. We have an old army truck with a 250 gallon skid unit in it and 200' of 1" hose on a reel sitting atop the tank. It is a beast, 3/4 ton and top end is 60 down hill:)

I still enjoy it after 30+ years but the young guys drag the hose now we older farts coach!

I still like the nozzle on structure fires.

Love the nozzle. Love to drive but I’ve been in the seat the past 2 years so I get neither. No worries though. I have a solid senior man in my house that makes being the boss easy.

Hey lucky, I just noticed you are in St. Louis, I'm a diehard Cardinals fan.

Get MLB so I can watch every game, wait for them to end then after daughter is asleep watch them at nights and can skip commercials.

They are playing now I'll have to wait till tonight though to see.

May be up there next year to watch a series, not been too new Busch yet.

You follow the Cards?

Got a friend up your way that works for a Nuke company that has offered me seats in their box. He audits me at my company every few years and talking found out I was a fan. Little girl be 4 by next season time to introduce her to a Cards game.

Take care.

I love the cardinals. We don’t get to the games as much as I would like. I listen to the games while I’m on the deck or in the shop. We don’t have cable so I don’t get to watch them much
