Just picked up a B8200 with slow hydraulics on loader. I was trying to search past forums on this valve but mine seems to be different than those with the roll pin in the nut with a stop. Tried both ways with no change in loader operations. I removed banjo strainer and cleaned but not sure if still may be clogged inside. Thanks in advance for any support. FYI tractor has been sitting for about 2 years.

The reason the diverter doesn't do anything is the loader isn't hook up to that block! ;)

I think you need to follow the lines from the FEL valve and see where they go, and post those pictures.

Oh, and make sure your three point still work because the diverter valve in the wrong position will hinder that operation.

Ok I will follow the lines to see tomorrow and post, I think the large line coming out the side goes to the control valve for loader but not 100% sure yet. Also I did get the 3pt to raise and lower. Thanks

Line #1 is to loader control valve
Line #2 is to 3pt hitch
Line #3 is to sump return
Line #4 is from Hyd. pump

Sorry I stand corrected, was looking at it wrong, I was looking for soft hoses not hard lines.

If I remember correctly that valve on that block is not like the others in that it does not turn a 1/4 turn and stop I think it spins in until stop or out until stop to change it's operation.

Try that and let me know if anything changes.

Your next step is to get a gauge to test it, but I'll bet you don't have any quick disconnects on the loader hoses, do you?

Actually I do have some quick couplings where I can stick a gauge. The loader is removable. Also drained sump, water &milky oil came out. Removed hyd strainer and cleaned in gas added new oil and every seal in hyd cylinders leaked water then oil when trying to operate loader. Not sure if my suction strainer is REALLY clean. Thanks for the support.

Water air air are too bad things for the hydraulics.

Buy some cheap hydraulic fluid heat it up and flush it several times to get the water out, buy a new filter for it, they are not that expensive.

Check your suction lines (large line with rubber hose) to make sure it's not leaking or soft.
