Tractor sat for about 4 months and now no clutch. Was able to crank it in gear and drive around even into a tree a let the tire spin, forward and reverse. Any thoughts

Do you have a PTO power implement?
If you do run it under a load (working it) with the clutch pedal held down.
You could also try blocking the clutch pedal down for a while, and see if it will pop open on it's own.
Only other real option is to split it and clean the rust off the flywheel.

FYI: Leave the clutch pedal block in the future to avoid this issue.

When you drove into the tree, did you have the clutch pedal depressed?

Edit; The wolfman beat me to it with better advice anyway...all I had was a question...

I block the pedals of all 3 of my tractors when I do not anticipating using them for a month or two.
All 3 are always stored inside also!
