B8200 power steering -cruise control- year/serial #

Forgive for a "shotgun" post of questions instead of 3 different ones.
My unit has power steering, but when I asked the parts guy about a new ball joint on the end of it he said there was no reference to such a unit on my tractor. The "cruise control" is missing parts on the right side and I don't see where the rod from below indexes into the rotating arm. Any Parts diagrams would help. And lastly - can someone refer me to where
my serial number would give a manufacture date? Thanks, CD

You're in serious need of a WSM (workshop service manual) for your tractor.

$95.76 Plus S/H... This would be my choice as I trust them to get me the right, real Kubota parts!
That will give you 99% of the answers you need.
The serial# will not tell you what year it was made.
There was only one series of the B8200HST-DP made so all the parts threw all the years should be the same.

If you have the Kubota power assist added then your parts guy is a moron! Yes you can tell him I said so too!
There are several ball joint ends on that unit, what one do you need?
A picture or two might help to determine if it's factory or not, and what exact part you need.

Well your right Wolf. The day after I bought this machine I called 4 dealers for a service manual and they all said $90 and a week delivery. So in my desire to begin servicing it I ordered an owners manual and implement manuals hoping that would be sufficient to
do all maintenance and begin use. So 12k + $800 so far in parts, fluids, bolts, hoses another $100 will be the way to go. I'm a believer in service manuals as I have them for all my vehicles and machines - I was building a garage and hoping not have to go so deep into the B8200 at this time. So I just ordered the Eagle parts book.

I need more pictures of the rest of the steering unit and where the hoses go to.

The Cruise control has a lot of parts to it. Look over the scematic and see what parts you need.
Might be better of getting the entire assembly form a place like West Kentucky tractor Parts:
