I've got a B7800 and would like to use an IH 120 sickle mower (7' bar) to mow around my pond and ditches. Anybody out there use this combination? It has a semi-mount, but could be converted to a 3-point hitch mount. Any advice? Maybe I should attach some pics.

Thanks Wolfman. Looks like I can only upload one at a time. Here's the mower. The guy I bought it from says I can bolt it to the drawbar (next photo). It's got hydraulics to operate the bar up and down, but I don't have the ports right now. He said I wouldn't need the hydraulics to run it, but it will make it much easier. I'll have to figure out where to plumb the hydraulic ports from.

After you upload go back and pic another, you can upload 4 at a time.

That looks like a sweet setup.

Here is what you need and where you hook up to get accessory hydraulic line, get a simple open center valve to be able to control your accessory port/s.

Thanks for the info on the hydraulics Wolfman. I'll give it a whirl. Having problems with the mower attachment to the tractor. I must have a fundamental misunderstanding of how this is supposed to work. Got to iron that out before I move onto the hydraulics. I'm starting to think that this mower won't work on this tractor. I'll keep you posted.
