Hi everyone. I'm new to the world of Kubota's and I'm having a problem with my B7610. When cold it starts right up and runs great. After approx. 15 mins of running it lacks power but still able to work with it. Once it's shut off after running for 15+ mins and restarted it chugs, spits and sputters until it caughts up with itself and runs good but still lacks power after all this. The only time it don't act up is when you let it set and cool off completely. Call the dealer and they suggest replacing the fuel filter and fuel shutoff solenoid which I did still no luck. Same problems. I have replace the fuel looked over the injectors and injector pump and on leaks any where. Any help would be great appreciated.

You could try leaving the fuel filler cap loose to see if it makes a difference. There have been a few cases where things like spiders have built a nest in the cap and blocked off the air flow.

How many hours on the oil?
How is the Antifreeze/coolant level?
How does the fan belt look?

Remove the line that feeds the injection pump and check for good fuel flow.

Wolfman, it has 110hrs on oil change, don't see any coolant on dip stick. Coolant level are to the top of the radiator cap. The fan belt looks good no signs of unusual wear. I have check the fuel line going to the pump and it was flowing good that I can see. But come to think of it I checked the fuel line while it was cold / sitting over night. Maybe I need to check it when its hot after a restart.

Where the fuel line hooks to the injector pump, does it have a small knob there? If so make sure it's closed (clockwise) fully. I've heard if left open it will make the engine run bad.

OK .... here's a wild guess about what might be your problem...... Something (dunno what) is causing a small air leak into your fuel system after it warms up but not when it is cold, just enough to lower the fuel pressure. My guess would be a loose metal fitting.

I had the small plastic return hose from the injectors on my B7500 develop a tiny split. It was so small that it was difficult to see but it let enough air into the fuel pump to completely kill the power. The only way I found it was that I noticed a very small amount of fuel on the outside of that hose, not even enough to make a drip.

I'll look more closely at the fuel lines and maybe go through all connections and tighten thembefore loading it up and take it to the dealer. Thanks for the input.
