Hi folks, I'm working on a seal leak on the hydraulic cylinder for the steering of my B7200. Does anyone out there have a parts breakdown. I don't see it anywhere in my parts manual.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Option: B9162 or B9163

I've never found a parts manual for it.
There is also no listing for it that I can find.
One option is call Coleman equipment or Messick's and you might find someone that knows how to look it up.

You can compare it to this, and see if you might get lucky:

There is an operator/parts manual for the B9162 / B9163 steering booster on ebay at the moment for $16.00. From what little I can read, it appears the 62 is for gear-drive machines and 63 for the HST's.

Thanks Wolfman, unfortunately, this is different then mine. The pictorial of the parts I found on OTT was a response by Dave Eng, to another members enquiry. So I have the item #s, not the part numbers. I checked out Messicks with no luck. The pictorial I have is clearly marked
B7200 Booster style ps - jpg.55021

I was hoping Dave Eng would see this post and would have what I was looking for.

Can you post a pic for us? The B9163 is what you should have if it was a factory installed option. If anything other than that, your best bet is to remove the cylinder entirely and take to your local hydrallic shop so they can match parts for you.

Where did you get that model number?
The pic that Dave put up is the B9162 or B9163 kit.

Sorry, Wolfman, the one I looked at from Dave is the same as Hookies in this post, which Hookie says it is in the B7200DT Manual. I am going to check this out.

Yes, that's the diagram I have, just no part numbers. I'll see if I can find the B7200DT Manual.
Here are the PS pages with part numbers. I showed those pages to a Kubota parts dealer 20+ years ago and they just laughed.....

Here is what Messicks says about the part number for the booster seal kit

Kubota #96319-38900 KIT SEAL, BOOSTE
$194.70

Usually ships in 5-10 business days
Product replaces 96319-38910
This part has been discontinued. We allow the ordering of discontinued parts because Messick's has several places to source these items after the manufacturer has ended support. Inventories in these warehouses are not available electronically. We encourage you to place an order, and we will do our best to locate the parts you need.

How do you post pictures on this site..?
Use the image button on the toolbar at the top of the message composition window. Or use COPY and PASTE into the message body. If teh image is too large Copy and Paste will fail but the button will automagically resize it.

If all attempts to get these parts fail you could try to locate a cylinder repair shop or remove the seals and take to a supplier such as BDI. Unfortunately, these shops are generally located in larger urban areas. Sounds like you might have to contact a few of these places to see if they think they can help you.
The shop service manual that I had for my b7200 did not have any info on this system but my dealer had access to the full manual through Kubota. I remember asking the parts desk as to what was available for the steering system a few years ago and was shown various items. Probably a lot less these days.

Thank you, I have found what I was looking for from Dan. I'm after a rod end as well as the seals.

Berry, you are understand that all / or most all of the parts are obsolete, so your going to have to go about this in a different manner and it really doesn't matter if you have the part numbers or not.

You going to have to find a local hydraulic cylinder shop that can match up the seals that you need.
And as far as the end goes they may or may not be able to help with that too.
If they can't search eBay for a suitable end.

Thanks Wolfman, I checked on line at Messick's and they have all the extra parts I need ( I was surprised). For the seals, yes I will be going to a local hydraulic shop.

Thanks again.
