I just picked up a early 90's b7100hst-d on the cheap. The previous owner's kid ran it under a tree and tore the rops off. The diff housing does not leak but the rear structure for the 3 point is gone. My question can a earlier housing be used? The current housing I think, 67311-14973 and older one on ebay 66611-11129.
Or should i just build a new bracket around the the axle housing.
Thanks for the help.

I’ll get one tomorrow. A better description, the two bosses for the lower control arm rod are sheared off. On the side of the case where the draw bar bracket bolts the 2 bottom bolt holes are sheared on both sides. It looks like 4 bolt holes in the rear face might be usable and the 2 bolt holes on the side at the top of the housing look ok. It’s really a mess. I’m glad I found this site, lots of great information and good folks willing to help.

That kid must have been doing thiry miles an hour on that 7100 to do that kind of damage; tearing the ROPS from the diff casing like that.

I'm surprised the tractor didn't 'wheelie' backwards; the ROPS on the B-Series Kubota's are pretty solid.
That's what I was thinking- maybe he was backing up pretty quickly, or free-wheeling it backwards...

Sorry I can't find my usb cable for the camera. But I now know why the rops came off so easy. I was not installed correctly the bottom draw was not even attached so the bottom of the case is fine. The rops was only attached with 4 bottom bolts in the side of the case, no wonder it broke. Now to make a plate for the bottom link. Guess I did get a great deal. It’s 1993 4wd 1400 hours, like new 4ft brush hog brand cutter, 1500 bucks.
