I'm installing a front end loader on my B7100D...A mixture of old and new parts. I made a an adapter to dump return oil into the tranny fill plug....Now on to the pressure side and I see a plugged port under the right side of the seat. In the middle is a turn valve with an arrow. I assume it's ok to tap into this port and then turn the valve to use the loader.
Or would it be better to tap in at the banjo fitting on the side ? Thanks

The loader installation is finished. When plumbed into the port on the right side, you turn the knob then need to put the three point lift control lever in the raised position for the loader to operate. Of course the three point won't operate when the knob is turned. No big deal I made a strap to hold the lever.
The bucket hydraulics are fast enough for the work I do with the stock pump and the engine running at about half speed.

Hummm... I don't think so as it would have to have in and out and it's only an out.
It might have to have the valve in the up or down position for it to work.
Mine had the block next to the bell housing that I tapped into for my loader to run off of so I never did use the rear hookup.
Sorry I don't have my B7100 here to double check for you.
It is a quick check, just loosen the plug and see when you get fuild flow.

Anyone else have a better answer?

EDIT: Cross posted, glad to here it's working

My B7100 HST has the loader set up as you did. Turn the nob one direction and the 3 point will work. Turn the knob the other direction and the loader will work. I have 2 other B7100s both have the separate crankshaft driven pump. They work much faster than the loader on the HST. I find it cumbersome to keep turning the valve to change between loader and 3 point. Also yes you do need to move the 3 point control lever to get the loader to work. The return goes back into the fill plug on the transmission top.
