The D950 engine has a decompression facility which aids starting. Black knob on B7200 operated by left hand when starting. Your left hand is holding camera and it should be pulling the black knob which has a cable to the decompression lever on top rear of the engine

Please check if this decompression facility is on your engine and try using it.
