No way to visually inspect it. You need to determine if the clutch needs repair/replacement by the symptoms your tractor is displaying. If you need any help let me know as I have just split my b7100 ( with a lot of help from the guys on this forum) and replaced the clutch but also found a lot of other worn parts.

is there any easy way to visualy check the cluch to see if it needs replacement or how much its worn?
My WSM says to measure depth from the disk surface to the top of the rivit heads and replace it if the distance is less than 0.1mm ( 0.004 inch)

Stylo,
you saythe tractor is stripped down; does that mean you have split it at the belhousing.
If that's the case there are a number of things you can check out for excessive wear while you are in there

Pilot Bearing, Pilot bearing seal, Presssure plate levers, Thrust bearing, Clutch fork, Clutch bearing holder seals.

The discs themselves were not too bad but, with advice, I replaced both pressure and friction plates and machined the flywheel.

While you are at it, check the ball coupling at the transmission end of the drive shaft.

Rickcas gave me the good advice on this (see his posts) Mine was really loose and worn.

See posts on splitting tractor at this site
