I'm new to Kubota's & I'm now the proud owner of a B7001 import. It runs like a dream, except the wiring has me baffled. The lights only work when the key is held in the "heat" position, & no power runs to the light circuits when in the "on" position (engine started or stopped). Any ideas.?

Sounds like you have a bad ignition switch.
Go to Kubotabooks.com and download the b7100 manuals and they will give you a wiring diagram, I believe it's the same wiring.
