Hi! I didn't see a spot for introductions or "General", so let me know if this should be posted elsewhere.

New to Kubotas and to OTT. We recently purchased a B6200HSTD that runs well, but hasn't gotten much cosmetic love during its lifetime. It's outfitted with a 60" 3-blade deck (RC60-72H) and a Westendorf TA-55 FEL.

My immediate plan is to do a full fluid change and a set of glowplugs (hard starts). Also I need a seat...any recommendations?

There are several holes that I'm not sure what they are for. Also, what are people doing for a grill?

If you see something in the pictures that I'm missing, let me know what I should be looking for. Is there anything that's a "have to do" for these?

Also, if you have a picture of the spindle/pulley cover that goes on the deck, please post. The local dealer wants $320 for each one. I think I can fab something suitable for around $25.

Pics (sorry, shop is a mess right now)...

2 Things I see right way!
The spinner on the steering wheel is attached wrong, it clamps onto the web not the wheel.
Get a ROPS for it, you can get them strait from Kubota for a good price!
It might just save your life... and it makes a great place to attach lights! :D

With a little work that will be one sweet tractor!

Like Wolfman says,, also while your at changing the oil, new fuel filter and hydro filter might be in order as well, unless that have been serviced. Sometimes a new fuel filter will take care of hard starting problems some times not, but a good fuel flow is essential. It looks like you have a pretty god machine there, have fun be careful and Welcome to the orange, OH before I forget, pictures we loves pictures :D
Don't tell me that's a hemi car

The two orange parts that are in the bucket are brackets that bolt to the side of the tractor to attach the mower. There must have been some issue with the loader using the same bolt holes as the mower brackets. Hopefully someone has accounted for this. Does the mower seem to be attached properly and go up and down as it should?

No, it's not a Hemi car unfortunately. Still lots of fun though!

The deck seems to lift/lower straight and level.

A full fluid change is planned, but thanks for the reminder on the fuel filter!

I'll look at the ROPS. Any idea how much (roughly)?

The deck is pretty scabbed up. Looks like it wore at the scalp wheels so someone broke out the stick welder and buried about 4 rods in each rear corner. I'll be addressing that this winter.

I plan to fabricate covers for the outer pulleys. Any good pics for reference?
