Every now and then my b6200D with manual gearbox presents me with a pool of oil under the gearbox. Suspect its seals 67211-12130 and/or 09500-20347.

Does anyone have any tips on replacing these - do you start with a split at the bell housing and work back, or can you split further back. Any tips greatly appreciated.

Any other suggestions on where the leak may be?? Any quick fixes??

Yes you would split at the bell housing and work back.

I would have to see pictures of the leaking seals to help you out further.

Check shafts for excessive play as that will make a new seal leak too.

Does it leave the pool of oil after just sitting, or while running (or both).

I know my B6200d leaves a nice little oil pool when I run stationary equipment for a bit (such as a chipper), but it***8217;s coming from the breather and blow by.
