Have a problem with a B6200 hydrostat trans. When the forward or reverse pedal is pressed it will allow pressure on the filter and blow it off or tear the exterior of the filter

You have a plugged return port, It's probably going to require a rebuild to clean it out.

The trans was originally left with water in it and was frozen. I have taken the transmission apart and got all parts moving, cleaned and with new seals. I could have possibly missed something. After the filter was blown off. We removed the filter. Rolling the tractor while in gear (low and high) you could see that the fluid was moving from the outside of the filter to the middle (reverse flow). The dealer doesn't have very much information on the transmission other than just buy a new one. I am not sure where the return port would be located or would return into.

The return is the line that come out the top and goes to the cooler on the front. ;)

I've checked the return port. It appears to be a line that simply returns into the top of the transmission into the main body. Would you no of any ports within the body of the trans that need to be cleaned?

Rerturn line itself seams to be clean. The banjo fitting on the top of trans appears to just dump into the body of trans. Would you have any ideas as to where in the trans it would be blocked. We have taken the trans totally apart and do not seam to find any blockage.
