b6100e tire size and pressure

hello all I have a b6100e 4x4 manual shift tractor with a coldwater tractor fel,landpride 42'' boxblade. the tires on my tractor are firestone turf and field. all four are loaded. the tire size on my tractor are different than those found in forum. rears are 29x1200x15. and the fronts are 21x800x10. I am feeling some binding in four wheel drive. rolling circumference on rears is 86,and the fronts are 61 according to firestone site. wondering if these are correct to my tractor. can I adjust air pressure to help.? max air psi. on rear is 30. and max on front is 24 psi. what is a safe air pressure with loaded tires? the tires are about three years old. still look new. any help would be great. thanks charter111 another thought.. the coldwater fel weighs about 575lbs and my box blade weighs about 190lbs. should I have more counterweight on the rear? if so how much would be a good starting point? thanks chris

First you don't have a B6100e, you have either a B6100D-P (geared) or a B6100HST-D (Hydro), the B6100e is a 2wd.

Factory Ag is:
Front 6-12 RC 69
Rear 7-16 RC 87

Your set up of turf:
Front 21 x 8.00 - 10 RC 61
Rear 29 x 12.00 -15 RC 86

Way off in ratio!

With that degree if a difference the only thing besides changing tires sizes that will help is if you put enough weight on the 3 point to lift the front end off the ground so it won't bind! Not a good Idea!

You need to change the fronts too 23 x 10.5 - 12 RC 69

As someone mentioned here in a post:

Align your tractor in a straight line, place a chalk mark on the tires - front and rear at 6 oclock, have someone help you "drive" or view the tires while the roll, stop when you make a full rev on the rear.......

where is the fronts? they went around and are pointing ????

now back up, place it in 4wd .....do they same, something changed on the front? yes? the fronts are "pulling more I bet, or could be since you switched tires, might be lagging behind.....

as for PSI, find the max psi on the tire, and then substract 10% - and you ask
why should I lessen the pressure? Your tires are the only shocks you got!!!
I little bit under is a lot less teeth jarring than at the max! BTDT !!!

You have the correct tires on your tractor, 6100 and 7100 4 wheel drive gear or hydro will buck in 4 wheel drive on the front end. I know exactly what you mean, as for the FEL and rear weight question, I think it looks good, tires are loaded which is a big help, so go enjoy your tractor.

Why do you say he has the right size for a 4wd, (don't be fooled by the title of B6100E) he clearly does not, the proper pairing is:

F 21x8.00-10 RC 61
R 27.0x8.50-15 77

Or

F 23x10.50-12 RC 69
R 29x12.00-15 RC 86

He either has the wrong fronts or the wrong rears, just depends how you look at it.

I read his post.............I have a owners manual for that tractor........the tires in question are correct for a b6100D 4 wheel drive Gear shift, you forget that your dealing with a 35 year old tractor and Kubota used what was available then, not now.

thanks for the info. tractor is a b6100d. my bad. going to air down tires and see if that helps with the ''binding'' tires were maxed out on air pressure when I got it. will post if it changes anything. thanks all
